Cam Gigandet will star in “Kid Cannabis,” a film — written and directed by John Stockwell — based on the real-life story of young Idaho suburbanites who built a multimillion-dollar marijuana ring.
Synopsis
Nate Norman was hanging out with his buddy Topher Clark when he came up with The Idea — running marijuana from Canada into Idaho and making a lot of money. The feds eventually are alerted to the scheme, and Nate & Topher realize they might be in over their heads…
Cast
Chris Marquette plays the title character, Nate Norman, and Gigandet is his best friend, Topher Clark. Aaron Yoo and Brandon Hardesty will also star in the film Kid Cannabis.
Shooting
Kid Cannabis was supposed to start shooting in Vancouver on July 14, 2008 but the shooting has been postponed to unknown date.
