Fearnet has an interview with Cam Gigandet, in which he talks about his character and his action scenes in the film ‘Twilight,’ and why he enjoys playing the role of bad guys. Here’s an excerpt :
Do you see your character [James] as evil?
Gigandet: What he does is, obviously, evil in the literal sense. But, his reasoning is not. I think it’s relatable. He’s someone who’s had a broken heart, who’s never felt love and who never will. Someone who’s had people in his life and ends up alone at the end of the day. I think, seeing that and seeing someone else who’s had it, the choice he makes is obvious.
